| Specification: | WESTCAR ROTOFLUID COUPLING is designed to provide your plant with optimum reliability and durability. It is fitted between the motor (drive) and machine (driven component).
The ROTOFLUID fluid coupling comprises basically two impellers, with radial blades, opposed to each other, one connected to the motor shaft and the other to the input shaft of the Driven Equipment or Machine.
The ROTOFLUID fluid coupling acts like a centrifugal clutch, by driving an impeller, the oil passing from the blades to the driven part, which acts as a driven impeller, transmits the power to the Equipment or Machine.
The oil, which fills the fluid coupling, transfers the torque and also lubricates moving parts. |
